Position Overview:
As Senior Technical Accounting Manager - GAAP, you will lead the transformation from IFRS to US GAAP and actively shape the future of our accounting and reporting landscape at INNIO. You will report directly to the Director Group Consolidation & Reporting.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the transition from IFRS to US GAAP, including process analysis and definition of required changes.
- Develop and implement new accounting policies according to US GAAP
- Build and deliver internal training and communication concepts for all relevant areas
- Support departments in implementing new guidelines
- Responsible for preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements under US GAAP
- Coordinate audit activities and further develop internal processes and systems
- Manage the reporting tool Workiva for SEC-compliant reporting (Form 10-K, 10-Q)
- Establish efficient, audit-proof workflows for US GAAP-compliant financial reporting
- Collaborate closely with the Corporate Reporting team and support preparation for potential capital market requirements
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
- 5+ years' experience in accounting, financial reporting and/or audit with focus on IFRS and US GAAP.
- Deep understanding of accounting standards, consolidation and financial reporting.
- Experience in transformation projects, especially standard or system changes.
- Structured, analytical and solution-oriented working style.
- Strong communication skills, change competence and enjoyment of international collaboration.
- German language proficiency a plus.
